Companies Should Prepare For Coming Environmental Regulations

Savvy companies are constantly researching to find ways that they can lower their impact on the environment. There are many environmental regulations aimed at lowering emissions and more are on the horizon.

Manufacturers who don’t prepare may be caught short and find it very difficult, and costly, to come into compliance with new regulations. Manufacturers who take steps now to become more “green” will be better prepared to operate under the more strict environmental laws which are sure to come.

One example of such a company is the Nissan Motor Co. In December of 2007, the Nissan Motor Co. launched it’s own green campaign, the Nissan Green Program 2010. The primary goals of this campaign are to reduce CO2 emissions over the next couple of years so that the company will be ready to comply with the new emissions regulations and standards which are expected to be put into place in the near future.
