Green Jobs For Colorado

If the idea of using rooftop generators and wind powered streetlights takes off, there could be as many as 125 new renewable energy jobs in Colorado. Rocky Wind Power has announced that it will open a manufacturing plant that will start out with 25 employees.

Rocky Wind Power CEO, Pam Stultz scouted sites for several months before choosing Colorado Springs. Stultz commented that the city has a highly motivated workforce. The new facility will manufacture components for the companies vertical rooftop generators and wind powered street lights.
