Green Manufacturing Expo

The Green Manufacturing Expo will be held in Rosemont Illinois from September 23rd through the 25th.

The Expo has already been held at Anaheim, California, Charlotte, North Carolina and New York, New York earlier this year. If you haven’t already attended this event you should make plans to be in Rosemont this September.

The purpose of the Green Manufacturing Expo is to allow participants to discuss and learn about sustainable manufacturing. Sustainable manufacturing technologies have already been put into use by major companies such as IBM, BASF, Toyota and Dupont and many others.

Sustainable manufacturing refers to the use of technologies and methods of manufacturing that produce less pollution. This includes recycling and the treatment of waste products. Manufacturers who use these technologies will enjoy lower production costs and gain a better image in the eyes of consumers who are becoming increasingly aware and concerned about the environment.
