IRENA Officially Launches To Spread Clean Energy
The International Renewable Energy Agency, IRENA, was launched this week. The first of it’s kind, the agency will focus solely on the spread of clean energy worldwide. The agency hopes to help both private industries and governments with expansion of renewable energy installments around the globe.
IRENA aims to help remove a lot of the obstacles that have delayed the progress of renewable energy. Over 120 delegates attended the conference and 75 nations signed the treaty. And, the new agency hopes that other countries will also follow suit.
While other bodies forcus on the expansion of renewable energy installments, IRENA has became the very first agency that is dedicated solely to the cause. It will direct more resources toward the goal than any other organization.
