Lansing, Michigan Chosen For New Green Battery Plant
Lansing, Michigan will soon be the home of Ev Performance Warehouse Inc.’s new clean battery manufacturing plant. Acording the EV Performance the city was chosen because it has a very productive work force that is unionized and is also home to some advanced technical colleges related to green technology.
The company also emphasized that the cities pro-green government, tax incentives and funding made Lansing and easier place to do business. The laboratory and production plant is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
The new plant will employee around 70 people and manufacture a long life battery that will reach full power with just short recharges. The batteries will be supplied for both hybrid and electric automobiles.
