New Hampshire Gets First Green Gas Station

New Hampshire residents just recently got their first “green” gas station. The gas station and convenience store aptly named Simply Green sells bio-fuel and bio-diesel and so far, the station has received quite a few customers.

Simply Green Bio-fuel’s owner, Andrew Kellar said his company has been selling bio-fuel for home heating for two years now and said he felt his company was “in the right place at the right time”. Not only have customers been stopping by to fill their tanks, many of them have also inquired about purchasing the companies bio-fuel oil for their home heating.

No modifications are required to your vehicles fuel system to run efficiently on the bio-fuel. All of the major auto producers already approve fuel that is enriched with as much as 10 percent ethanol and Simply green offers a mix of five percent ethanol.

Simply Green’s fuel is produced with a mix of regular petroleum, tallow and soybean oil. Not only is the fuel eco-friendly, the store was designed to utilize solar power with six panels installed on the roof. And, the stores lighting is provided by light-emitting diodes that reduce energy usage from 200 watts each hour to only 16 watts.
