Samsung In Talks To Manufacture Wind And Solar In Ontario
Samsung Group, a South Korean electronics and industrial giant is in the midst of high level talks with the Ontario government in hopes of establishing manufacturing facilities for wind power and maybe solar power as well. The energy would be used to supply their projects developing renewable energy in the province.
It’s expected that a framework aggreement will be signed soon which would pave the way for the investment of billions of dollars in Ontario and the creation of hundreds of new jobs. This comes after the launch of Ontario’s feed-in tariff program.
