World’s Largest Rooftop Photovoltaic Plant
An Italian company recently announced their plans to install the largest rooftop solar photovoltaic plant in the world. Solon SE has plans to generate up to 15 MW of electricity when the sun is at it’s peak with modules attached to a huge rooftop.
Installation at the building, a Padua warehouse and truck loading complex is scheduled to begin in September. The photovoltaic modules that will be used in the project are going to be manufactured in Carmigiano di Brenta by a subsidiary.
The groups based in Berlin, faced difficulties in the first quarter when manufacturing almost halted. But, business has began to pick up with three other sales that came in earlier this month.
